Sitting adjacent to Viet Nam, the Guangxi Zhuang
Autonomous Region on the northern extremity of the Beibu
Bay is abbreviated as Gui. It spreads over an area of
230,000 square kilometers and has a population of 44.89
million consisting of Zhuangs, Hans, Yaos, Miaos, Dongs,
Gelaos, Maonans, Huis, Gins, Suis and other ethnic
Peoples. The capital city is Nanning. |

The terrain
of Guangxi is shaped like a basin. As
typical of a karst landform, limestone
formations cover almost half of the
land. High temperatures and abundant
rainfall have corroded the limestone
into a forest of ridges and peaks and
caves with different shapes and
characteristics, which gives rise to
spectacular natural wonders that won
Guangxi a lot of adages, such as
¡°Guilin¡¯s landscape is unmatched under
heaven¡±. There are 3 |

nationalscenic
reserves ¨CLijiang River, Xishan and
Huashan, and 11 national forest parks,
including Bajiaozhai, Daguishan and so
on. Other tourist attractions are
Beihai¡¯s Silver Beach, Yufeng Mountain,
Lord Liu¡¯s Temple and Lingqu Canal. The
Zhuangs, Yao¡¯s, Miaos, Dongs and many
other ethnic minority people in Guangxi
are Known for their time-honored and
distinct folklores |

Nanning is capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous
Region, and a rising industrial city. Under a
subtropical climate, it is a fine tourist city
that is extolled as an ¡°evergreen metropolis¡±.

EthnicArtefact Garden, and Guangxi Medical
