Day
1. Chengdu/Huanglong
Take a morning flight to
Huanglong Scenic Area.
With over 3400 multihued ponds, lots of waterfalls, snow
capped mountains and forests, Huanglong Scenic Area is
one of members on the List of World*s Natural Heritages.
Then we*ll drive to the mouth of the Jiuzhaigou Valley
(about 2 hours) for the night.
Day 2, Huanglong/Jiuzhaigou
Have a full day*s visit in
Jiuzhaigou, another
member to the World Natural Heritage. Like a Fairyland
with beautiful lakes, colorful mountains and the
innocent Tibetan people, Jiuzhaigou is a place where you
will certainly be intoxicated by its natural beauty,
forget about all of your worries and anxieties, and be
free from the noises and strains of the city life. Enjoy
the local performances in the evening (Optional).
Day 3, Jiuzhaigou/Chengdu
Transfer to the airport for flight back to Chengdu. (Due
to navigation control, flight may change) We*ll resume
our exploration in Chengdu. After lunch visit the
Thatched Cottage of Dufu
每a place where a famous Chinese poet 每Dufu in Tang
dynasty once lived and the Wensu Temple.
Day 4, Chengdu/Leshan/Mount Emei
After breakfast, leave Chengdu for Leshan by bus to
visit a town that is famous for its world*s biggest
Stone Buddha, which is
about 71 meters in height and carved out of a solid rock
right on the cliff face of the Mount Linyun. After the
pilgrimage, we*ll drive to the nearby
Mount.Emei, one of the
4 sacred Buddhist Mountains in China. A visit to Baoguo
Temple at the foot of the mountain will conclude our
today*s visit.
Emeishan Hotel.
Day 5, Mount Emei/Chengdu
Have a full day*s visit at beautiful Emei Mountain. Emei
refers to the eyebrows of a beautiful lady! This
mountain is endowed with majestic natural beauty, as
well as mysterious legendary relics associated with
Buddhism and Taoism. In the late afternoon drive back to
Chengdu for the night.
Day 6, Chengdu
Today we*ll drive westward to the Ancient
Dujiangyan, an ancient
irrigation project that was built 200 BC, but is still
functioning today and has made significant contributions
to the ※ LAND OF ABOUNDANCE ※--- another name for
Chengdu. In the afternoon we*ll visit the Qingcheng
Mountain, adjacent to this dam and famous for its
quietness and greenery; then drive back to Chengdu for
the night.
Dynasty Hotel (B/L/D)
Day 7, Chengdu
In the morning visit the world*s biggest
Giant Panda Breeding
and Research Center. After lunch, end the tour.
