Day01: Entry from Beijing (D)
Meeting at airport, our guide would send you back to
hotel. The rest of the afternoon is for rest to overcome
the jetlag. In the evening, after dinner enjoy the
acrobatic show.
Day02:Beijing (B-L-D)
Visit the largest city center square in the world 每Tian*an
Men Square and the magnificent
imperial palace 每Forbidden
City in the Morning. In the afternoon
visit
Temple of
Heaven, a place where the emperors of
the Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped Heaven and their
ancestors. After dinner,free in the evening or take an
optional program --the
Beijing Opera.
Day03:Beijing
(B-L-D)
In the morning, visit the
Great Wall
每the wonder of the world. After lunch, visit the
Ming Tombs
(the Sacred Road and Changling), where altogether 13
emperors and 23 empresses were buried. In the evening,
enjoy the Beijing Roast Duck.
Day04:Beijing
(B-L-D)
Visit the beautiful
Summer Palace
每the largest imperial garden built in the Qing dynasty.
In the afternoon, visit the age-old
Hutong area where the
old life of Beijing citizens could be traced back. After
dinner,free in the evening or take an optional program
--the Legend of the
Chinese Kungfu.
Day05:Beijing /Xi*an
(B-L-D)
In the morning visit the
Beihai Park, a
beautiful imperial park first built in Jin Dynasty 800
years ago. After lunch, visit the famous
Lama Temple. After
dinner, leave Beijing for Xi*an by air.
Day 06, Xi*an
(B-L-D)
In the morning, visit the majestic Museum of
Terra Cotta Warriors
and Horses, another wonder left more than 2000 years
ago. In the afternoon, visit
Huaqing Hot Spring
where the emperors of the Tang Dynasty frequented. In
the evening the local speciality 每the Dumpling Dinner is
arranged.
Day 07, Xi*an
(B-L-D)
In the morning visit the Forest of
Stone Steles Museum, a
place housing over 3,000 inscribed stones steles made in
different dynasties, and the
Ancient City Wall.
After lunch visit the
Big Wild Goose Pagoda,
a square shaped, seven 每storey pagoda built in 652 AD,
as well as a fine example of Tang dynasty Buddhist
architecture, and the Banpo Museum. After dinner,free in
the evening or take an optional program --the Tang Dynasty Show.
Day 08, Xi*an /Chengdu
(B-L-D)
After breakfast, leave Xi*an for Chengdu by air. In
Chendu, visit the
Thatched Cottage
of Dufu 每a place where a famous
Chinese poet 每Dufu in Tang dynasty once lived and the
famous Daoist Temple 每Qingyang Palace.
Day 09, Chengdu/Lhasa
(B-L-D)
In the morning sightseeing in the town. After lunch,
leave Chengdu for Lhasa 每the capital city of the Tibet
Autonomous region to experience a different culture
breeding on the highest plateau in the world. After
check-in, rest in the hotel to acclimatize us to the
high plateau climate.
Day 10, Lhasa
(B-L-D)
In the morning, visit the famous
Potala Palace, which
had been the political and religious center in Tibet for
centuries. After lunch, visit
Norbulinka 每the famous
summer resort for head lama in the past and the
Sela Monastery.
Day 11, Lhasa
(B-L-D)
Visit the famous
Jokhang Temple and
Drepung Temple. In the
afternoon, visit Tibet Museum and the famous
Bharkor Market.
Day 12, Lhasa /Chengdu
(B-L-D)
Leave Lhasa for Chengdu By air. After lunch in Chengdu,
visit the famous irrigation project 每Dujiangyan,
a project built in 200 BC.
Day 13, Chengdu/Shanghai
(B-L-D)
Leave Chengdu for Shanghai by air to visit the ※Oriental
Paris§. In Shanghai after lunch visit the beautiful
Yu Garden and the
Bund to experience the
beautiful night view of
Yangpu River.
Day 14, Shanghai /Home
After breakfast, see off.
